Who we are
A small employment consulting practice in Münster focused on one problem: helping capable people return to paid work in Germany after a professional break.
Career breaks for Elternzeit, Pflege, illness, or relocation are ordinary life events. The German hiring process, with its date-heavy Lebenslauf and preference for continuous records, often treats them as risk. Intelligentsystems was founded to sit with that tension honestly — not by inventing a “gap story,” but by clarifying capacity, documents, and interview language so returners can compete for roles they already earned the skills for.
We stay deliberately narrow. We do not run a general outplacement firm, and we do not sell job boards or software. Clients come for structured conversations, written plans, and rehearsal.
Consultations are led by practitioners who have coached returners across NRW and remote clients elsewhere in Germany.

Application materials advisor

Engagements begin with a short intake. We ask about the break, prior roles, constraints at home, and what “good enough” looks like for the first year back. You receive written notes after sessions. Between meetings you do the searching and applying; we shape strategy and materials.
We are based at our Münster address and meet in person when it helps. Video sessions are standard for clients elsewhere in Germany. Response time for new enquiries is within two business days.
