Refunds & cancellations

This policy covers fees for Career Restart Consultations, Application Package Reviews, Interview Preparation Sessions, and Return-to-Work Planning Workshops offered by Intelligentsystems. It does not cover products we do not sell (physical goods, software subscriptions, or third-party courses).

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on how far the engagement has progressed and how much notice you give. Written notice by email to info@intelligentsystems.digital is required.

Career Restart Consultation (package)

• Full refund: cancellation at least 14 days before the first paid working session (intake calls used only for scheduling do not count as a paid session).
• Partial refund: if you cancel after the first working session but before the third, we refund the unused session fees minus a €120 administration charge and any instalment discounts already applied.
• No refund: after the third working session has begun, or if written materials for remaining sessions have already been delivered at your request.

Single sessions (application review & interview preparation)

• Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the appointment for a full refund or free reschedule.
• Cancellations inside 48 hours are refunded at 50% unless we can fill the slot with another client.
• No-shows without notice are non-refundable.

Workshops

Workshop places may be cancelled for a full refund up to 7 days before the event. Inside 7 days you may transfer your place to another person or receive a 50% refund. After the workshop starts, fees are non-refundable.

Deposits and instalments

When a deposit secures a package date, it is credited toward the total fee. Deposits become non-refundable within 14 days of the first working session if you cancel, but remain transferable to a new start date within three months if we agree in writing.

Work already started

Annotated CVs, session notes, and mock-interview feedback already delivered remain yours; their portion of the fee is not refundable once sent.

Rescheduling

We allow one complimentary reschedule per session with at least 48 hours’ notice. Further reschedules may incur a €40 administrative fee.

Refund process and timing

Email your request with your name, booking reference or invoice number, and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. Bank timelines may add several days.

Exceptions

If we cancel a session or workshop, you may choose a full refund or a replacement date at no extra cost. Statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under German law remain unaffected.
